Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Form Construction Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, erect, align and fix formwork for concrete structures according to specifications and industry standards.
* Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications accurately.
* Work with reinforcing steel (rebar) as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Maintain strong safety standards and work areas, promoting a clean and safe environment.
* Collaborate with carpenters, concreters, site supervisors and other tradespeople to ensure smooth workflow and efficient project delivery.
* Identify and report any issues or defects, suggesting improvements to increase productivity and quality.
Requirements
* Prior experience as a Form Worker / Form Setter on commercial or civil construction projects is essential.
* Able to work long hours (60 hrs/week), potentially including early starts or shift work, and maintain physical fitness throughout the contract period.
* Knowledge of safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) and site inductions is mandatory.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team are vital.
* Reliable and punctual, committed to the full 12-month duration.
