Job Description
Patient Service Representatives play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our medical practice. As a Patient Service Representative II, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our patients and physicians.
Your primary duties will include collecting and processing encounter form data, collecting and totaling outstanding balances and payments, and balancing your work and computer at the end of each day.
You will also be responsible for maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, receiving and recording changes in patient information, and ensuring that procedures and corresponding diagnoses are properly recorded on fee slips for charge entry.
In addition, you will be responsible for scheduling appointments for return visits, performing end-of-day procedures, and compiling data for billing personnel.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
