About the role
As a Storeperson / Assembler you will play a crucial role in our organization by processing sales orders, picking, packing, and dispatching goods, receiving and processing goods, and ensuring that the warehouse is well-structured, tidy, and clean.
You will also support and maintain the inventory process, general database integrity, and general warehouse functions, and be responsible for basic gearbox builds.
This role is 3 days per week Monday – Wednesday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with standard breaks.
Key Responsibilities
* Process orders and requests for goods - pick, pack and dispatch (including invoicing)
* Process goods receiving (CRA)
* Process unique and/or irregular orders (including kitting)
* Keep the warehouse well structured, tidy, and clean
* Observe and adhere to policy and procedure
* Support and maintain Inventory process (including stock-take)
* Support and maintain general database integrity
* Support and maintain general warehouse functions (including fill Pick Points, fill consumable utilities, perform Housekeeping duties)
* Operate and maintain Warehouse plant and equipment within prescribed standards of operation and safety
* Assisting with the assembly of basic gear boxes.
Skills and Experience
* Three years' related experience
* Forklift Licence ideally
* Good computer literacy (ideally Sage ACCPAC, Microsoft packages)
* Problem-solving abilities with customers and suppliers
* Ability to work well with others
* Effective listening, organisation and time management skills
* Ability to digest and work in a high-pressure environment
* Absolute trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity
* Teamwork: Ability to work with other departments (e.g. customer service, sales reps)
