Scarboro Surf Life Saving Clubs is one of Western Australia's leading surf life saving clubs, with a proud history of community service and beach safety over nearly 100-years. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to help us achieve financial sustainability and operational excellence while maintaining our strong community focus.
About the Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, you'll lead the Club's administration, commercial operations, and facilities while driving revenue growth through sponsorship, venue hire, bar services and other corporate opportunities and partnerships. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll make a real impact on our members and community.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage sponsorship packages; secure new partners and renewals
* Drive venue hire bookings and optimise bar operations
* Lead the admin team and oversee facilities management
* Prepare budgets, monitor cashflow, and deliver monthly reports to the Board
* Maintain compliance with the Club constitution, policies, WHS, member protection standards and other legislative requirements
* Build strong relationships with sponsors, community partners, and members
* Develop systems to improve volunteer efficiency and succession planning
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership in NFP/community/sporting organisations
* Strong commercial acumen (sales, budgeting, contracts)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Tertiary qualification in Management, Business, or relevant related field
* HR/staff management experience an advantage
