About the Position
This role is responsible for delivering high-level professional support to internal and external stakeholders, focusing on councillor community engagement.
* Foster meaningful connections between councillors and their communities through strategic engagement activities.
* Provide operational support to councillors by actioning advice requests and facilitating effective communication with the organisation.
* Offer comprehensive administrative services to enable councillors to perform their duties efficiently and discreetly.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to governance protocols while addressing service-related matters promptly. This includes:
* Managing social media presence.
* Facilitating stakeholder consultations, including group facilitation.
* Negotiating relationships effectively.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Business or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in a similar position, preferably within customer service or community engagement. They will also bring qualifications or practical experience in public consultation, such as IAP2 membership or certification.
