Permanent position paying from $170k+ p.a.
- Brisbane Airport location with WFH flexibility 3-4 days per week

Our client, a national organisation within the aviation sector, are currently seeking a Brisbane Airspace Program Manager for a permanent position.

**Position Overview**

The New Parallel Runway (NPR) at Brisbane Airport opened on 12 July 2020, introducing new flight paths to accommodate parallel runway operations.

A Post Implementation Review (PIR) was conducted 12 months after the implementation of airspace and flight path changes to confirm actual noise and aircraft operations and to identify opportunities to improve noise and operational outcomes, inform future changes and contribute to the continual improvement of change management process.

As the **Brisbane Airspace Program Manager**, you will;
- Lead the development of the Brisbane Airspace Enhancement Business Case, including delivery program, proposed resource structure and costings, encompassing;
- Implementation Program - developing a program based on the PIR recommendations, identifying key delivery actions, milestone dates and input points, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) requirements to deliver against the program
- Resourcing schedule - identify resource requirements (internal and external) to deliver the work, and external resourcing (consultancy options) to support the program.
- Drive implementation of the program following Business Case approval.

As the **Brisbane Airspace Program Manager**, you will;

- Implementation Program - developing a program based on the PIR recommendations, identifying key delivery actions, milestone dates and input points, and Subject Matter Expert (SME) requirements to deliver against the program
- Resourcing schedule - identify resource requirements (internal and external) to deliver the work, and external resourcing (consultancy options) to support the program.
- Drive implementation of the program following Business Case approval.
- Bring industry best practice methodologies for complex program delivery and change management and be focused on mobilising a multi-discipline team to deliver desired outcomes.
- Bring highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills, to liaise across the organisation to progress changes through design, safety and operational assessments, and environmental impact assessments.
- Demonstrate an understanding of community engagement practice and manage program implementation cognisant of community needs and interests
- Vendor management as required to guide, assess and assure flight path design options.

**Skills, Competencies and Behaviours required**:

- Minimum 10 years' experience leading complex program and/ or project delivery, including change transformation initiatives having significant community impact. Experience in highly regulated environments, operational service delivery and/or aviation is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate with cut through at senior executive, as well as internal and external stakeholders with a range of backgrounds (including vendors), and the ability to sensitively escalate issues and solutions appropriately.
- Demonstrable experience in leadership, interpersonal, consultative, organisational and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing geographically dispersed project teams.
- Sound judgement, business acumen and decision making, with a focus on outcomes in a service delivery environment and commercial considerations.
- Demonstrable experience in high level analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Certification or necessary experience in project/program management.
