Capgemini is seeking a Data Tester to validate data accuracy, integrity, and quality across various platforms. As a key member of our team, you will develop automated testing frameworks, perform SQL-based validation, test ETL pipelines and APIs, and ensure seamless data migration in cloud-based ecosystems.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Data Validation: Design and implement test cases to validate data in semi-structured databases such as Cosmos DB using Python within Azure Notebooks.
2. Automation Frameworks: Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks to support continuous testing.
3. SQL Validation: Perform thorough validation of source-to-target data mappings using strong SQL skills.
4. ETL and Migration Testing: Conduct ETL and data migration testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
5. API Testing: Perform API testing to verify functionality, reliability, and performance.
6. Automated Test Scripts: Develop and execute automated test scripts for scalable test coverage.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Python Proficiency: Proficiency in Python for testing data within semi-structured databases.
* Test Automation: Hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
* Strong SQL Skills: Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and mapping verification.
* Data Warehousing: Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies.
* ETL and Migration: Proven experience in ETL and data migration testing.
* API Testing: Knowledge and experience in API testing and automated testing tools.
Desirable Skills:
* Azure Expertise: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its services.
* Azure Cloud Platform: Understanding of Azure Cloud Platform architecture.
* DevOps: Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
* Databricks: Experience working with Databricks.
* Agile-Based Projects: Prior involvement in Agile-based data testing projects.
