**Vocational Training and Resource Development Specialist**
This role is focused on delivering training programs for Community Health Services, ensuring students meet competency requirements. The position involves providing support and feedback to learners, observing and assessing student performance according to course standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the health care industry, with experience in teaching, assessment development, and resource creation. They must be able to engage and motivate students, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver training sessions that cater to diverse learning needs
* Develop and maintain learning resources, including assessments and materials
* Support students in academic and non-academic matters
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Selection Criteria:
* Relevant qualifications in the field (Certificate III in Individual Support and/or Certificate IV in Ageing Support)
* Completed TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years' experience in teaching or facilitation
* Course resource and assessment development experience
* Minimum 5 years' clinical experience in the healthcare industry (ageing, disabilities)
* Current Working With Children Check
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
