Electrical Maintenance Supervisor Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the maintenance of our fixed plant operations, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor. This position is responsible for allocating tasks to electricians and monitoring daily activities.
About the Position
* Work scheduling and supervision of electrical tradespersons in maintenance activities
* Allocating maintenance coverage for breakdowns
* Inspecting the workplace for hazards and promoting safe work practices
* Resolving on-the-job work issues
* Instructing team members in work practices
* Ensuring work procedures are followed
* Relieving team members in the workplace as required
* Ensuring requisite materials, including safety equipment, are available to team members
* Referring unresolved issues and problems to the Supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Electrical Trade certification
* Current WA electrical licence
* Significant demonstrated experience in a fixed plant mining environment
* WHS Legislation statutory knowledge
* Management, health and safety and human resources focused
* Task prioritisation, time management for self and direct reports
* S26 exposure, certificate or ability to obtain certificate
* Hold a valid manual driver's licence
