We are representing a rapidly expanding data infrastructure platform operating across the Asia-Pacific region. This business designs, builds, and operates highly secure, resilient, and efficient data centers, with a growing portfolio that includes facilities across key APAC markets.
As part of continued growth and a strong focus on workplace excellence, a newly created opportunity exists for an experienced Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to join the team and lead the global EHS function.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead the organisation’s EHS strategy across operations and greenfield developments
* Ensure compliance with Australian and international EHS regulations and standards
* Maintain and enhance the Safety Management System (SMS) across multiple jurisdictions
* Partner with executive leadership to embed EHS strategy into organisational planning
* Drive environmental programs focused on sustainability, energy use, and emissions reduction
* Oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, regulatory liaison, and workforce training
* Manage the EHS function including budgeting, team leadership, and vendor relationships
* Represent the business with regulators, contractors, consultants, and industry associations
Candidate Profile:
* Tertiary qualified in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Risk or related field (Master’s preferred)
* Recognised certification (e.g. AIHS, NEBOSH, OSHA, CSP)
* Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 frameworks
* 8+ years’ senior EHS experience in high-risk environments such as data centers
* Proven ability to influence executive leadership and build EHS strategy from the ground up
* Strong stakeholder engagement, incident management, and continuous improvement mindset
* International exposure would be advantageous
