The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a six month fixed term contract. In this role, you will provide strategic financial leadership and operational support across the organisation, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting. You will play a key role in budgeting, strategic planning and commercial analysis.
In this role, you will:
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial accounts and compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
* Deliver ongoing financial advice and management support to all business units.
* Support the development of annual budgets and strategic plans, including performance analysis and variance reporting.
* Provide financial modelling and data driven insights.
* Manage treasury functions to support day to day operations.
* Oversee payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
* Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board and government bodies.
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced Finance Manager with a strong track record of delivering quality financial outcomes. Your focus on compliance, accuracy, and ongoing improvement ensures effective financial management.
Your background includes:
* CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent).
* Significant experience in a finance role within a complex organisation.
* Proven track record in compliance, statutory reporting, and audit management.
* Strong commercial acumen and experience in financial modelling and analysis.
* Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with executive teams and boards.
* In depth knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, Corporations Act, and federal/state financial regulations.
