About the Role
You'll lead a small team on landscaping and maintenance contracts across the metro area, including public green spaces, turf care, pruning, planting, reticulation, clean-ups and general site work. The role includes:
* On-site supervision and hands-on delivery
* Communicating with clients and managing day-to-day site operations
* Ensuring safety, quality and efficiency across all work
* Leading and coordinating field teams in delivering high-quality gardening and property maintenance services for commercial clients, including planning, scoping, setting priorities, and maintaining strong workflow and standards.
* Providing on-the-job guidance to younger employees as they build skills and confidence
What You'll Bring
* Minimum three years experience in landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance
* Strong leadership skills and confidence running a small crew
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset and good communication
* White Card (mandatory) and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
* Strong commitment to safe work practices and upholding high standards
* Comfortable using job scheduling/reporting apps and tablets
* Further desirable experience: arboriculture, horticulture, landscape design, soft scape, trades, traffic management, tree works, reticulation systems, basic mechanics, working at height, chainsaw, or turf management.
