Freelance Assistant Site Manager - New Build Housing
Location: Liverpool
We are looking for a proactive and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our team on residential new build housing developments across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a fast-paced, quality-focused house building environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of a busy new build housing site, helping to ensure plots are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager with daily site operations
* Supervise subcontractors and trades on site
* Monitor progress against the build programme
* Ensure health & safety regulations are strictly followed
* Carry out quality inspections and snagging
* Assist with plot handovers and customer care
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation
* Help coordinate materials deliveries and site logistics
Requirements
* Experience within the new build housing sector (Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, or similar role)
* Knowledge of NHBC standards and UK building regulations
* Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
* First Aid at Work certification
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain quality standards
