SCCQ are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic casual Catering Assistant to join our team at Duhig Village Residential Aged Care Home in Holland Park.

Key responsibilities
Working as the Catering Assistant in this casual role you will assist in the preparation of nutritious and high quality meals for our residents in accordance to the Food Safety Program requirements.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
* Food handling and preparation.
* Plating and serving of meals.
* Ensuring on time delivery of quality meals.
* Cleaning of dishes, kitchen workspace, equipment, utensils and fixtures.
* Ensuring kitchen and equipment is maintained in a safe, hygienic and tidy manner.
* Complying with Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
What will you bring to the role?
* You will demonstrate compassion, sensitivity and maturity to provide high quality meals.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
* Experience working in Aged Care/Hospital commercial kitchen.
* Good knowledge of food safety (preferable HACCP).
* Must be flexible with start time and days (including weekends).
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively.
