As a home care professional, you'll play a vital role in enabling older Australians to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide domestic support services to ensure clients' safety and comfort.
* Assist with shopping and meal preparation to help clients maintain their independence.
* Offer personal care services, including assisting clients with daily routines, managing medications, providing mobility assistance, and offering emotional support.
* Drive clients to medical appointments or accompany them on shopping trips.
* Engage clients in social activities and community events to promote their well-being and happiness.
* Deliver complex care to clients with high needs, such as dementia.

Requirements:

* A valid driver's licence and fully insured vehicle.
* Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Up-to-date flu vaccination (required during winter months).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Resilience and ability to work independently.
* Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
