Maintenance and Repair Professional
We are seeking an experienced maintenance and repair professional to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and refrigeration maintenance, preferably gained within the mining industry or a related sector.
The role involves installing, maintaining, and supporting both surface and underground electrical and refrigeration systems and equipment. This includes assisting with electrical and refrigeration system upgrades and installations, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime, and recording maintenance activities in the maintenance management system.
About the Position:
* Maintain fixed plant and village infrastructure to ensure the reliable operation of electrical and refrigeration systems.
* Work on a 2:2 roster (day shift only).
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Installing, maintaining, and supporting both surface and underground electrical and refrigeration systems and equipment.
* Assisting with electrical and refrigeration system upgrades and installations.
* Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure reliability.
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
About You:
* A strong background in electrical and refrigeration maintenance.
* A current Restricted Electrical Licence (WA).
* A Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
* Experience with large compressor systems, chillers, bulk air-cooling systems, and commercial / industrial cooling systems.
