Centurion Healthcare is a multidisciplinary specialist clinic group involved in Respiratory, Sleep Disorders and Cardiology services.

We are seeking an energetic, experienced and professional full time Medical Receptionist to join our leading multidisciplinary practice.

Whilst headquartered in Macquarie Park, a lot of our work are in Sydney's Inner West, South West and Outer West. Our clinics are located in Ashfield, Burwood, Bankstown, Fairfield, Hornsby and Macquarie Park.

The position involves the day-to-day administration of a specialist practice. You will be part of a busy and friendly medical team comprising of a practice manager, clinical staff and specialist physicians.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Supporting the Practice Manager with day to day administration;
2. Answering patient enquiries and scheduling consultations;
3. Front desk reception and management of specialist clinics;
4. Ensuring medical records are managed confidentially and efficiently;
5. Patient invoicing and receipting;
6. Data collection and maintenance of patient database;
7. Handling incoming and outgoing mail;
8. Scanning and linking patient correspondence, test results etc. as we are a paperless practice;
9. Management of medical software;
10. Printing and mailing correspondence;
11. Liaising with referring doctors, hospital staff and medial representatives.

Successful candidate will ideally meet the following criteria:

1. Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist in a Healthcare practice preferred, but not essential. We are considering university science graduates;
2. Strong computer skills, good knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Prior Medical software experience highly regarded.
3. Proven organisational skills and the ability to multitask;
4. Solid understanding of medical terminology.
5. Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and liaison skills with a demonstrated commitment to quality customer care;
6. Ability to work unsupervised within a team or independently to achieve results;
7. High attention to detail;
8. High level of integrity and confidentiality;
9. Excellent spoken English;
10. Self motivated and friendly in nature

To perform in this role, you will require your own personal car.
