Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to a trade-qualified machinist with strong CNC machining experience and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Key responsibilities include:
* Programming and operating CNC lathes.
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Producing precision components to tight tolerances
* Conducting quality checks and inspections
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
* Working collaboratively within the workshop team
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Trade qualification in Fitting and Machining
* At least 5 years previous CNC machining experience with demonstrated experience programming and operating CNC lathes including C axis and multitasking capabilities (experience with Okuma, Mazak, Fagor or similar controls is highly regarded).
* Familiar and competent with all aspects of 2024-2025 Mastercam programming
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
