In partnership with our host, TE Engineering & Line Boring, we are seeking a motivated 2nd to 4th Year Boilermaker Apprentice to join the team.
Founded in 2016 in Chinchilla, QLD, TE Engineering & Line Boring delivers expert on-site line boring, fabrication, machining, and maintenance services across Queensland and Northern NSW. Proudly 100% locally owned, they are trusted by Tier 1 clients for their quality, reliability, and fast turnaround. With a new facility and in-house CNC and fabrication capabilities, TE Engineering provides agile, solutions-focused support to the mining, civil, construction, and CSG sectors.

Job Details
In this role, you will work under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding while supporting tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Prepare metal components through cutting, grinding, and basic fabrication techniques
* Assist in welding tasks, including TIG and MIG welding, under supervision
* Support experienced tradespeople with the assembly, fitting, and repair of metal structures
* Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop machinery safely and efficiently
* Follow workshop safety procedures and contribute to a clean and organised workspace

About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic apprentice who is eager to complete their trade qualification and further develop their skills.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* The ability to adapt quickly to new situations
* Excellent communication skills
* A valid driver's licence
* A Construction White Card
* Strong safety awareness
* Certificate I or II in Engineering (advantageous)
* The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check
