Perth Healthcare Centre is a well-established, busy multidisciplinary clinic operating across East Perth and West Perth.
Our clinics bring together chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage, podiatry, psychology and allied health services, and our reception team plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the business.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist who understands the importance of reliability, consistency and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
This role is not suited to someone new to reception or medical administration.
Prior experience is essential.
For the right candidate, there is genuine opportunity for growth and progression into an Assistant Manager role over time.
About the Role
This is a hands-on reception position in a fast-paced clinical setting.
You will be the first point of contact for our patients and a key support person for our practitioners and management team.
We are looking for someone who shows up, follows systems, communicates clearly and takes ownership of their role.
Essential Experience & Skills
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role (essential)
Experience using Practice Management Software (Cliniko highly regarded)
Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong understanding of delivering high-level patient customer service
Ability to follow procedures and report to the Practice Manager
Experience with HICAPS and Workers Compensation claims (highly advantageous)
Interest or experience in social media content and basic marketing support (advantageous)

Availability Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
This role requires flexible availability across all reception shifts.
If your availability is limited or fixed, this role is unlikely to be suitable.
Reception shifts include:
Morning: 7:30am – 1:00pm
Afternoon: 12:00pm – 6:30pm
Weekend mornings on a rotating roster if required (paid at award rates)
Key Responsibilities
Greeting, checking in and scheduling patients
Managing payments, HICAPS transactions, referrals and forms
Answering phones and responding to emails and tasks via Microsoft Teams
Supporting practitioners and admin staff with daily clinic operations
Maintaining clinic presentation and assisting with opening and closing duties
Scanning, filing and organising patient documentation
Preparing rooms and supporting clinic workflowsAssisting with the implementation of clinic systems and procedures
Completing assigned administrative and executive tasks accurately and on time
