About your role:
The role will have a focus on the Medical wards, including Medical Assessment Unit, General Medical Ward, Cardiac Services and Respiratory Renal Ward as operationally required.
Deliver high level clinical pharmacy services within a single or multidisciplinary team within the Cairns Hospital in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
Provide general clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding clinical pharmacy services delivery.
Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within clinical service area and actively participate in initiating, developing and implementing quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
