Are you an experienced ICT Software Asset Manager looking for your next challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of software assets, ensuring compliance, optimising costs, and supporting digital transformation strategies. Your expertise will directly contribute to the organisation's operational efficiency and compliance with governance and reporting obligations.
Your duties will include:
* Maintaining and updating the centralised Software Asset Register.
* Monitoring and managing software licensing usage across desktop, server, and cloud environments.
* Liaising with vendors and resellers regarding licensing terms, renewals, and audits.
* Supporting procurement and finance teams to ensure appropriate software entitlements are procured, renewed, and retired.
* Providing reports and dashboards for software utilisation, risk exposure, and cost tracking.
* Recommending improvements to software asset management processes and tools
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
* Demonstrated experience in end-to-end software asset lifecycle management.
* Proficiency in software asset management tools such as ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune, or Snow.
* Strong capability to contribute to licence optimisation and cost reduction strategies.
* Experience in conducting internal reviews to ensure compliance with licence agreements.
* Ability to support responses to external software audits or licence verifications.
* Knowledge of government procurement, financial, and ICT asset management policies.
