An excellent opportunity exists for a passionate and committed person to join our Flight Attendant Management Team in full-time capacity as the Recruitment Manager.
Rex is renowned for its exceptional customer service and we pride ourselves in recruiting the right people for our roles. You will be responsible for leading the flight attendant recruitment process; including interviews, initial training schools and commencement of new employees.
This position will report to the National Flight Attendant Manager.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Liaising with the National Flight Attendant Manager and Crew Resources Manager regarding flight attendant requirements and location requirements
- Leading the flight attendant recruitment process and training/developing interview panel
- Managing administration support personnel
- Arranging recruitment advertising
- Conducting shortlisting and selection of applicants
- Conducting/overseeing arrangements for interviews to take place
- Conducting interviews, including group interviews
- Completing reference and background checks on applicants
- Completing relevant follow up communication and documentation with applicants
- Maintaining internal records on applicant status
- Post interview and post ground school communication with applicants on hold
- Contribute to and attend recruitment marketing campaigns
- Initial contact with successful applicants for placement on Flight Attendant ground school
- Facilitating offers and assisting with the start process of new employees
- Manage general enquiries regarding Flight Attendant recruitment
- Ongoing development of recruitment systems & platforms, interview techniques and industry best practices.
- Assist with interviews for internal positions as required, and
- Participating as a member of the Flight Attendant Management team and assisting as required.
**Skills and Experience**:
- A good understanding of Rex culture and what sets us apart from our competitors
- Experience in aviation recruitment would be desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
