This is an exciting opportunity to join Ember Pizza as our Head Chef. Located in the heart of Australian Wine Country, we are well known for our Sourdough wood fired pizza supported by a high quality range of entrees, salads and desserts.
Our bases are slow ferment and stretched by hand with toppings carefully selected and prepared to deliver a fantastic final product.
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pizza kitchen and leading a talented team of chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing
* Manage the pizza kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards
* Lead, train and motivate the pizza kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes
* Collaborate with the management team to plan and implement seasonal menu changes
* Monitor food costs and inventory to maintain profitability
* Foster a positive and productive work environment in the kitchen
What we're looking for
* Experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
* A knowledge of pizza-making techniques, ingredients and trends
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent time management and organisational abilities
* Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
