We are looking for an experienced ICTHelp Desk Support Officer who will support, maintain andtroubleshoot our rapidly expanding ICT Infrastructure, supportingoperational IT issues in a Microsoft environment. This role willsee you prioritise support requirements and provide technicalexpertise on a day-to-day basis. This is a full time, 12month- fixed term contract.

About therole:
* Providetechnical support for desktop computing andtelecommunications infrastructure and generalised supportof RAAFA's IT environment.
* Be the firstpoint of contact for all RAAFA Users on the IT Help Desk toprovide support and effective customer service to resolveall basic IT and telecommunicationissues.
* Maintain andmanage the service request system to ensure accuraterecording and close out of issues in a timelymanner.
* Performdaily checklists and maintenance tasks.
* Managehardware and application requests and supportqueries.
* Install andmaintain IT equipment used within the corporateenvironment, including but not limited to desktops, laptop,tablets and phones.
* Ensurehardware maintenance processes and documentation ofrequired repairs are adhered to.
* Liaise withvendors and other IT personnel for problemresolution.
* Assist intraining, coaching and system support of Microsoftapplications.
* Contributeto the project implementation for RAAFA's computingand telecommunications platforms andinfrastructure.
* Maintaineffective relationships with clients, colleagues andsuppliers to achieve desired businessoutcomes.
What you bring to therole:
* Demonstratedexperience in providing technical IT support, ideallywithin a large corporate office environment supporting 500+users as part of an established team.
* Demonstratedtechnical knowledge in supporting desktop, laptop andtablet hardware and other office IT equipment. Demonstratedexperience supporting Microsoft Windowsenvironments.
* Demonstratedexperience in Active Directory in creating user accountsand profiles.
* Demonstratedexperience in Windows file permissions.
* Demonstratedexperience supporting Microsoft Office 365applications.
* Outstandingcustomer service skills are essential as this position willinvolve phone/email support in addition to back-roomtechnical skills.
* Possessionof Microsoft technical certifications or equivalent(desirable).
* Demonstratedability to work autonomously with a team focus, toparticipate and contribute to business and projectteams.
* Demonstratedexperience in a similar position to provide technicallycompetent support and advice.
