About the Role

* The Adolescent Court Liaison Service – Senior Mental Health Clinician is a critical role within the Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network.

This position focuses on providing mental health court diversion and consultation liaison services to Children's Courts and CAMHS in NSW.
">
As a key member of the Adolescent Forensic Mental Health Team, you will work collaboratively with external stakeholders such as Youth Justice, Court users, CAMHS, and community Drug and Alcohol Services.

Main Responsibilities
">

* Providing mental health assessments and interventions to young people within the justice system.
">
">
You will be required to develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
">
Essential Requirements
">
">
* Clinical Nurse Consultant: Current unrestricted Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
">
* Social Worker: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in social work, with membership or eligibility for membership with AASW.
">
* Occupational Therapist: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in occupational therapy and registration with Ahpra.
">
* Psychologist: Accredited undergraduate study in psychology, registration with Ahpra, and preferably approval or eligibility as a Psychology Board Supervisor.
">
* Clinical Psychologist: Six-year accredited master's or higher in clinical/forensic psychology, registration, and endorsement in the relevant area.
">
* Experience: At least 5 years in Mental Health, including Child and Adolescent or Early Psychosis experience.
