About the role
As a Chef, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality catering services for a wide range of stakeholders. The work is varied — from bulk meal preparation through to high-level catering.
Key responsibilities include:
* Menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Preparing a broad range of meals, from large-scale catering to formal dining
* Managing dietary requirements and food standards
* Ordering and managing stock within budget
* Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
* Monitoring wastage and conducting stock takes
* Maintaining kitchen equipment and resources
* Supporting the wider catering team as required
What you’ll need
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Experience working in a professional kitchen or catering environment
* Willingness to cook a diverse range of meals and styles
* Strong food safety, hygiene, and organisational skills
* Australian citizenship
* Current driver’s licence
