This is a rare senior leadership role focused on the engine room of a growing, government‐funded housing organisation. As the business scales and modernises, this role exists to build the structure behind the service - ensuring compliance, financial discipline, strong systems and operational clarity across the Housing division.
The Role
This role holds end‐to‐end accountability for the operational integrity of the Housing division — acting as the executive owner of the systems, controls and disciplines that enable services to operate safely, compliantly and at scale. Sitting one layer below Executive, the role combines strategic authority with hands‐on ownership, overseeing compliance, financial discipline, enterprise systems and risk management while leading significant operational and cultural transformation across a growing, regulated organisation.

What You Bring
* Senior operational experience within regulated, government‐funded environments (community housing, social services, aged care or government)
* End‐to‐end exposure across operations, compliance, risk, audit and financial oversight
* Proven capability building systems, structure and discipline from the ground up, rather than inheriting mature frameworks
* High personal accountability with the confidence to enforce standards, consequences and controls
* Comfort operating in ambiguity, incomplete systems and evolving priorities
* Financially literate, numerate and disciplined within funded or contract‐based models
* Resilient, hands‐on leader able to own outcomes while leading change
* Motivated by impact, influence and progression, with the ambition to grow into broader executive responsibility
* Values‐driven, with genuine commitment to purpose‐led work and community impact, without losing commercial rigour
