Key responsibilities
* Monitor and analyse key commercial metrics, including sales performance, profitability, and cost structures.
* Work with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and risk management.
* Conducts analysis on financial and other performance data against budgets and provides feedback to the CFO and General Manager – JTA.
* Collaborate with the sales, marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure alignment on commercial goals for the rendering & protein business unit.
* Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams to support business objectives.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure that production planning aligns with financial budgets and forecasts.
* Monitor production schedules, ensuring that resources are efficiently allocated to meet business demands.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
About you
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance related discipline.
* 5+ years of experience in a commercial, financial, or business management role preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, or manufacturing.
* Strong financial acumen with expertise in pricing, profitability analysis, and cost management.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
