Job Description
Our team supports adolescents who cannot live with their families and have child protection orders. Your daily tasks can include building positive relationships with young people, following a routine developed specifically for a young person's needs, transporting them to and from school, day programs and appointments, and assisting in the implementation of programs designed for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
* Build positive relationships with young people and your fellow team members
* Follow a routine developed specifically for a young person's needs
* Transport young people to and from school, day programs and appointments
* Assist in the implementation of programs designed for growth and development
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential criteria:
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID003)
* National Police Check
* A current driver's licence
* Willingness to participate in a Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
* Current NDIS Worker Check
The following qualifications are mandatory for this role:
* Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention; or
* A recognised relevant qualification
In addition, all residential care workers must complete the three mandatory units of competency:
* CHCMHS007 – Work effectively in trauma informed care
* CHCPRT009 – Provide primary residential care
* CHCCCS009 – Facilitate responsible behaviour
