About the Role
We are looking for passionate, community minded people who we can train to become part of our Learn to Swim team. You will be responsible for delivering effective swimming and water safety to students in our Learn to Swim program.
Work type: Casual
Classification: Band 2 $43.05 p/h (including casual loading)
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and conduct Learn to Swim classes
* Provide assessment reports of students and monitor progress
* Provide excellent customer service to swim school students and parents
* Provide regular feedback to students and parents on their progress
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Learn to Swim teacher with a passion for swimming and teaching.
Essential Experience
* Swim teacher qualification
* A current employee Working with Children check
* Current CPR certificate
* Excellent communication skills
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
