Your Opportunity

This isn't a sit‐back‐and‐wait kind of role.

We're looking for a driven, self-starting Customer Development Manager who loves being out in the field, connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and converting conversations into long-term partnerships.

If you're proactive, hungry for growth, and ready to make an impact in a competitive metro market, this is your moment.

You'll work alongside a supportive Branch Manager and have the autonomy to manage your territory confidently. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, thrives independently, and enjoys being the face of the brand across the Mackay region. You'll also collaborate closely with the Regional Commercial Sales Management team to ensure strong alignment across commercial growth strategies.

What You'll Be Doing
* Growing and managing a portfolio of commercial clients
* Actively prospecting to secure new business in a competitive metro environment
* Networking with Mackay businesses, industry groups, and commercial partners
* Building strong, long-term client relationships
* Planning and executing your own call cycles and sales activities
* Promoting the full Flick service offering
* Maintaining CRM accuracy and sales activity records
* Working with the Branch Manager to drive growth across the Mackay region
* Contributing to a high-energy, high-performance team culture
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 2 years' experience in sales, business development, or account management
* Demonstrated success in winning new business — not just farming existing accounts
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building ability
* A proactive, self-driven mindset — you take initiative and create momentum
* Excellent planning and territory management skills
* Ability to work autonomously across a fast-paced metro footprint
* CRM and Microsoft Office experience
* Full driver's licence
