HR Consultant Role

Key Responsibilities
1. Draft job descriptions, advertise roles, and coordinate interviews for vacant positions
2. Assist with onboarding and induction processes for new team members, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles
3. Maintain accurate employee records and contribute to reporting requirements, providing valuable insights for organisational development
4. Coordinate training and development opportunities for staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge to drive organisational success
5. Support workplace health and safety initiatives as needed, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
* Background in administration, ideally within the not-for-profit sector, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices
* Strong interest in HR or working towards a diploma in HR, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
* Experience in recruitment or HR administration, with a proven track record of success in these areas
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders
* Proficiency in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
* A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex challenges
