Job Description Rare opportunity for a seasoned Leader in Banking to drive the success of Westpac's Kardinya Branch!
What's the role? As a Bank Manager, you'll lead a frontline banking team that aims to exceed customer expectations while playing an active role in the community. You will inspire a team of customer service, sales, and business specialists, setting the standard for the Westpac Group experience. You'll hold financial, risk, and operational accountability, ensuring customer advocacy remains central to all activities. Your responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, and elevating your team to deliver superior banking experiences, contributing to the success of the branch and its customers.
This is a full-time, branch-based role with hours from Monday to Friday.
What will I need? Strong leadership experience, ideally in Retail Banking (preferred but not essential) Proven accountability for risk, compliance, staff performance, and customer experience High-energy, with the ability to motivate a diverse team Experience in achieving business performance targets and driving growth Effective communication and problem-solving skills for de-escalating challenging situations At Westpac, we support your success from day one with comprehensive training on our products and services, along with guidance and resources to help you excel in your role.
