About the Role
Are you a tech‑savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering top‑notch repairs? We are looking for a Mobile Phone Repair Technician - Team Leader to join our team. As a Likewize Technician Team Leader, you'll provide hands‑on mobile device hardware repairs and technical support via our mail‑in service while supporting a team. This role offers a unique blend of autonomy and teamwork, with the opportunity to work towards service delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate a team of repair technicians and allocate workload to meet service delivery requirements and timeframes, including implementing and monitoring efficiencies in the repair process.
* Oversee quality assurance and training of technicians.
* Utilize repair systems and processes to complete all quality control procedures.
* Follow service procedures systematically and complete all system‑based administration.
* Assist with spare part management.
* Maintain the workshop to a high standard and ensure stock security.
* Maintain up‑to‑date training materials and facilitate training on regularly repaired hardware/software.
* Collaborate with all Likewize employees to establish requirements for new systems or processes.
* Report to our program lead of Likewize Repair, meeting and reporting on KPIs and SLAs of our repair partners.
* Collaborate with warehouse management team to ensure targets are met.
About You
* Demonstrated experience in mobile device hardware repairs, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical support.
* Accreditation or Technician certification through a recognized OEM is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in telecommunications retail, OEM, or service repair technician roles.
* Knowledge of repair processes, diagnostic tools, and quality standards with a passion for technology and the ability to thrive on change as products evolve.
* Experience in team management and strong leadership.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
* 5+ years of repair experience.
