What will you be doing?
Our Host employer is a family owned and operated business working predominately in inner city suburbs.
You will undertake a variety of tasks, including:
* Work with a team of dedicated qualified carpenters and apprentices on custom projects
* Use power tools, e.g. electric/battery drills, power saws, routers, sanders, planners, laser levelling devices and nail guns
* Comply with local building codes and work health and safety regulations
* Use your maths skills to take measurements, calculate areas and quantities

* Experience as a team player through employment or team sports

* Above average physical fitness and well-developed hand-eye coordination
* Great communication skills and openness to work alongside others
* Completed more than 10 units of competency towards your Certificate III in Carpentry.
