**The Position**
We are looking to appoint a Project Officer at 0.5 FTE. The Project Officer will work within the Australian Research Council (ARC) Laureate Fellowship Project "Cities as Transformative Agents for Climate Safe Futures" awarded to Distinguished Professor Xuemei Bai. The project aims to build knowledge and identify strategies to bring about rapid, positive, and widespread transformations within and across cities towards zero-carbon, resilient futures.
Working closely with the Project Leader Professor Bai and the project team, the Project Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring a successful execution of the project. Tasks may include, among others: coordinating and providing project management and administrative/logistic support to the Project Leader; assisting in managing the development, implementation and finalisation of projects; provision of strategic, operational and administrative support and advice to senior stakeholders; building and maintaining a collegial team atmosphere; be a point of liaison and coordination for the project Advisory Board and the collaborative networks in Australia and internationally; monitoring and reporting on project's progress against KPIs, prepare reports and communication/outreach notes; managing/updating project website and project social media accounts; organize project and advisory committee meetings; and contribute to research and analysis as required.
