We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Domestic Care Worker to join our team.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities, ensuring a comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
You will provide exceptional care and communicate effectively with residents, promoting their quality of life and well-being.
This is a casual, part-time or full-time opportunity at our facility in Fitzroy Crossing.
* Prepare and present meals, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner
* Provide kitchen support services, including food preparation, texture modification, and accurate portioning
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipment
* Perform cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Handle residents' laundry, ensuring proper washing and return of clothing
* Manage bed linen, ensuring it is laundered and labeled correctly
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
* Understanding of infection control practices
* Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting
* Strong communication and organizational skills
