As part of our organisation's transformation journey, we are seeking a senior risk management professional to support our business operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving proactive risk culture across the division, enhancing the organisation's ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
About the Role
* The Senior Risk Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Risk in coordinating and facilitating risk management activities within the first line of defence.
* This role plays a fundamental part in driving a proactive risk culture across the division, enhancing the organisation's control environment, improving its risk position, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
* You will join us with previous leadership experience in financial services, with experience directly in business banking/product. Ideally, you'll hold a degree in finance, technology, business, risk management, or a related field and/or professional certifications like FRM, PRM, or CPA.
* You're recognised as having a passion for driving risk outcomes, uplifting control environments, and supporting organisations in enhancing their risk maturity.
Your track record in developing and implementing risk management frameworks will be crucial. You'll bring a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are key, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a team. Strong organisational and project management skills will also be important.
