About the Role
As a Procurement Transformation Journey Expert in our Procurement division. you'll play a key role in helping to:
1. Drive and coordinate transformation programs to deliver our strategic objectives.
2. Ensure alignment of all initiatives, platforms, policies, and processes to create a cohesive customer and stakeholder experience.
3. Maintain and communicate artefacts that keep all stakeholders aligned to the transformation goals.
4. Continuously review and refine divisional strategy in a dynamic environment.

What will your day look like?
As a Procurement Transformation Journey Expert, you are accountable for:
5. Lead the implementation and ongoing enforcement of the No PO No Pay process across the organisation.
6. Ensure systems are in place so all purchases are properly authorised and documented via approved purchase orders before payment processing.
7. Drive compliance through communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
8. Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to streamline processes and resolve issues.
9. Oversee the operation and continuous improvement of the Spend Control Tower as a governance mechanism for third-party spend.
10. Ensure all sourcing activity is initiated through the correct entry point and routed to the appropriate governance forum based on spend type and value.
11. Lead the review of business cases, supplier selection, and contract renewal timelines.
12. Drive transparency, auditability, and consolidation of spend where appropriate
13. Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of the Procurement Front Door (single-entry point for all sourcing and procurement requests)
14. Ensure the Front Door process is user-friendly, efficient, and supports compliance with procurement policy.
15. Provide guidance and support to business units on how to engage procurement, submit requests, and navigate approval pathways.
16. Monitor usage, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement in the intake and triage process.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
17. Deep expertise in change management principles, methods, and industry trends.
18. Strong experience in analysing and redesigning business processes to enhance efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks and align them with organisational goals.
19. Demonstrated success in influencing, motivating, and managing teams through change.
20. Knowledge of how to standardise Procurement processes to create consistency, reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency.
21. Solid experience in managing business improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to scope. Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall or PRINCE2.
22. Experience in managing and engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to ensure buy-in and alignment on project goals.
23. Ability to influence stakeholders and gain support for new initiatives and changes, particularly when introducing process changes or new ways of working.
24. Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis to identify the underlying issues affecting Procurement processes and suggesting appropriate corrective actions..
