About the role
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a dietitian who is interested and committed to working with young people who have a mental illness or mental disorders and their families and carers. The Dietitian in this position is responsible for providing expert nutrition and dietary advice to the young people, families and carers that access the Child & Adolescent Community Mental Health Service and work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
The Child & Adolescent Community Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary team that includes Psychiatrist, Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician, Psychologist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurses, Education Officer, GOTIT Clinicians, Administration staff and Speech Pathologist. The Team partners with a range of Health Services and other agencies who may include NGOs, NSW Department of Communities and Justice and Headspace across the Hub to provide a range of acute mental health services in the Orange Hub.
