About the Role
This is a permanent, part-time position requiring 34.5 hours during school term and 38 hours during vacation care time. The Assistant Coordinator will assist the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a supportive work environment.
The service is located on the Yugambeh land and serves a multi-cultural and linguistically diverse community at Pacific Pines Primary School. We are licensed for 105 children and offer Before and After School care as well as vacation care between 6:30am to 6pm. Our menu includes options such as vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free to cater to children's dietary needs and preferences.
We believe in empowering children to feel safe and be safe, and we prioritize community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous, multi-age play in middle childhood. As an OSHC Assistant Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this vision and make a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
