We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our team at Ballina Insurance Brokers, a leading insurance brokerage dedicated to providing tailored solutions for individuals and businesses alike.

As an Assistant Account Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Account Managers and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the management of client accounts by maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely renewals.
* Communicate with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide expert advice on insurance products and policies.
* Prepare, review, and process insurance documents such as policies, endorsements, and certificates.
* Support Account Managers in the development of client proposals, presentations, and reports.
* Monitor policy renewals, ensuring clients' needs are met efficiently.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
* Assist in other administrative tasks as required to support the team.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in insurance or a related field is preferred but not required.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A proactive, customer-focused attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the insurance industry.
* Tier 1 or Tier 2 in Insurance Broking
