Ensure product integrity in this rewarding role with one of Australia's leading brands.The RoleOur Tatura site is an icon in the region, well known around the world for its quality dairy products. As well as being the country's largest producer of cream cheese, it also produces infant formula, nutritional lactoferrin, various milk powders, plus our famous single serve butter.We are looking for a new Quality Coordinator to join the team in Tatura! This role's key responsibility is to collect samples from across the site and book them in for testing to ensure products meet quality standards. Use of a Quality management system is critical to reporting this information which is another requirement of the role. This is an entry level role so if you have some experience in Quality or Science fields, please do apply!Please note that this role requires some weekend work on a rotating roster of 9 weeks and an allowance is applied to the package accordingly. (Rotating pattern: Mon-Fri, Tues- Sat, and Sun-Thurs). You must also be okay to work public holidays.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates tools and activities to ensure appropriate materials, product and environmental quality controls are executed to planCoordinates daily sample managementReviews results for conformance to specification and coordinates activities to ensure product conformancePrepare test reports or certificates as requested by the businessCoordinate the raw material sampling and release of raw materials via the vendor assurance programAbout youKnowledge of processes used to assess product quality and safety in a food manufacturing environmentExperience working in Quality is highly regarded as well as computer literacy/science-based studiesKnowledge of the use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving abilityStrong time management and prioritization skillsThe Bega StoryBega Cheese Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
