Research Fellowships in Molecular Genetics and Genomics

Position Overview:
The laboratory is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to the study of chromatin packaging and transcriptional regulation during development and disease in mammalian cells.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and conduct experiments supporting research projects, ensuring methodological consistency and adherence to timelines.
2. Review related literature to support experiment design and report development for presentations and seminars.
3. Contribute to collaborative research within the lab and with external collaborators by exchanging ideas and implementing experiments.
4. Develop high-quality articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals, showcasing scientific leadership.
Qualifications:
1. Recent PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genomics with strong bioinformatics skills.
2. Proficiency in using single cell or low cell number experimental and/or clinical samples.
3. Familiarity with open-source DNA-seq, Bisulfite-seq, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq analysis pipelines, and public databases (e.g., UCSC Genome Browser, Ensembl).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of basic statistics.
2. Experience in mammalian cell culture and NGS library preparation for DNA and RNA analysis.
