Senior Desktop Support Specialist

Green Light Worldwide has a requirement with our client partner for a Senior Desktop Support Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.


Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee laptop builds, ensuring all devices are configured to company standards and optimised for performance.
* Provide expert-level remote and onsite support for clients, resolving complex issues related to:
o Microsoft 365 (O365) administration and advanced troubleshooting
o Barracuda security solutions
o Ubiquiti networking equipment
o SentinelOne endpoint protection
o Backup and recovery systems
* Act as a trusted advisor during client onboarding, including account setup, system access, and best‑practice guidance.
* Develop and maintain strategic client relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long‑term satisfaction.
* Deliver high‑quality technical support while mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for service enhancements and proactively address potential risks.


Requirements

* Extensive experience in IT support roles, including both service desk and field support environments.
* Proven ability to manage and resolve complex technical issues across hardware and software ecosystems.
* Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and related services.
* Hands‑on experience with Barracuda, Ubiquiti, SentinelOne, and backup solutions.
* Apple/Mac experience is desirable.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships. (Essential)
* Demonstrated capability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple projects.
* Leadership qualities with experience mentoring or guiding junior staff.
