About the Role:

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to oversee and deliver critical technology programs that support business objectives and operational excellence.
In this role, you will lead lead a portfolio of technology and digital uplift initiatives, cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and finalise IT projects and programs on schedule and within budget. Your expertise will help align IT strategies with business needs, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives that improve efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the entire lifecycle of IT programs, from initiation through to delivery and closure.
* Coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of objectives.
* Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
* Driving continuous improvement in program management methodologies.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong background in IT program or senior project management.
* Experience in industrial, mining, energy, or heavy manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of enterprise IT and operational technology (OT).
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Comfortable working in regional/remote operational settings.
Contract Details:
* Duration: Initial 6 month contract role with potential extension
* Location: Gladstone QLD.
* Remote candidate will be considered, with regular multi day site visits
* Eligibility: Open to candidates with valid Australian work rights
