Techforce has multiple projects and roles available for Boilermaker Welders / MEM Boilermakers for respected Tier 1 mining contractors in the industry. Our clients specialise in heavy mobile plant maintenance and are looking to expand their crews with top talent.
What you'll be doing:
* Maintenance and repairs to heavy mobile plant and/or road trains – CAT, Komatsu, Kenworth, Volvo, MACK, Hitachi, Liebherr
* Tray relining, bucket refurbishment, chassis repairs, boom and track repairs, GET installations and refurbishments
* Fabrication, coded welding, reading & interpreting engineering plans and drawings
* Perform breakdown repairs and general maintenance to equipment
* Carrying out component inspections, overhauls, and assemblies in line with OEM specifications and site standards
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM guidelines and mine site procedures
What's in it for you:
* $68-77 per hour flat rate | 12 hour shifts | Weekly pays | Online timesheets
* 2:1 FIFO rosters = 1 week of days, 1 week of nights, 1 week RNR
* Based in the Goldfields or Pilbara region of Western Australia
* FIFO from Perth Airport – interstate applications still welcome but will pay own way to and from Western Australia
* Temp to perm contract – sign over full time with client after 6 months

What you need:
* Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy mobile plant and earthmoving equipment – essential
* Cert III – Engineering – Fabrication (or similar)
* Valid Australian driver's licence
* Full unlimited Australian working rights – essential (no visa sponsorship)
* Able to pass a lab drug & alcohol screen and a pre‑employment medical
* National police clearance
* Adflo welding helmet & able to pass a FCAW welding test
