Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lineworker to construct and maintain transmission and distribution networks in our Operations North depots.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Attend and rectify faults in a timely manner to ensure minimal loss of supply and less disruption to customers.
* Complete allocated construction and maintenance work to high quality standards, ensuring consistency across the network.
* Maintain and enhance core Line skills with changing industry standards and business requirements.
* Participate in pre-job planning to identify risks, hazards, and task variables, and control measures to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable job completion.
* Work in various environmental elements to complete jobs subject to adequate safety and control measures being implemented.
* Uphold good customer relations when working in the field, particularly where there is direct contact with the public.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* A Certificate III in ESI - Power System Distribution Overhead or equivalent qualification.
* A valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence.
* Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
* HOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essential.
