About the Clinical Intake Officer Role
The Colac Area Health community is served by our clinical intake team, which provides a vital link to health services. As an Administrative Officer within this team, you will play a key role in managing referrals and directing them to the most appropriate service.
Your focus will be on understanding our services, administrative processes, and supporting improvement activities. You will be a single point of entry for numerous programs, including Allied Health, Community Nursing, and Family, Community Programs, and Specialist Clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide effective communication across all levels of the organisation and with members of the community.
* Demonstrate high-level computer literacy and sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
* Effectively plan, organise and manage your time to achieve targets/deadlines within a set timeframe.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Possess a qualification in Health, Administrative, IT, Data Management or other relevant field.
* Deliver excellent customer service, demonstrating a friendly and supportive approach to our consumers and staff.
